About Us

We are the co-editors of Small Magazine (the online magazine) and Smaller (the daily journal). Christine lives in Texas and Olivia was in New York and is now in Australia, so we co-edit Small magazine and the Smaller journal long distance. We have been best friends since we shared a railroad apartment in Brooklyn 15 years ago. These projects started as a way to keep doing creative work together as well as from a desire to showcase independent and small scale design for kids. We now have five kids between us but we both travel with our families to spend time together and work on Small projects. We aim to get back to everyone who writes to us but due to the amount of emails we receive this is sometimes not possible. We really appreciate hearing from you and love to see what you make and do.
