I love finding new designers making stuff for boys. Aven is new on the scene and has a super cute line of boys clothes- cool and a little bit tough but still very wearable.

small type- owl know how

 

Isobel Knowles and Cat Rabbit are two Melbourne based artists. Cat makes adorable soft toys and Isobel is well known for her animations. A while ago they collaborated to make a little film called Owl Know How about a some rabbits working in a factory that makes owls. Thames and Hudson saw the film and comissioned the artists to make a picture book. Every image is a photograph of a meticulously hand constructed three dimensional set.

As well as the film and book there is an Etsy shop where you can buy all the adorable characters and other special merchandise. They are also running a workshop next Saturday where children will get to make their own owl or Easter rabbit masks.
