my 11 year old daughter wants to sew DESPERATELY. She would croak over this ;)

I would love to win a copy of Sewing School for my four year old daughter. She loves making her own gifts - embroidery, beaded necklaces, scrap bracelets.... She'd be thrilled to have her own book of projects. Thanks! kristie_keely(at)yahoo(d0t)com

I'd definitely share this with myself to use with my two boys.

Would love the book! We're homeschoolers who love learning life skills, and my boys (7 and 9) are showing a big interest in sewing!

I am getting a sewing machine for my birthday in a couple of weeks and would love to share this book with my 8 y.o. daughter. Both of us are beginning sewers so this book would be perfect. swirvin_be(at)yahoo(dot)com

I would LOVE this book! I'm planning on getting my daughter a small (but real) sewing machine for her 6th birthday in March and this would be perfect along with it!

Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great idea, back to the basics. great for share with my daughter's friends, party time, sleepovers idea.

I would use this with my 6 yr old daughter who has been asking to learn to sew for the past year. I would also make this a new addition to the ever growing collection of sewing books in my studio:)

How very cool!!! Love your blog/magazine. What a fun giveaway :)

my 9 year old daughter, my 10 year old niece, my 14 year old son....
plus I teach creative classes for children at 5 public schools and would definitely use the the book as a resource for classes. thanks!

I've bought my goddaughter a sewing machine for her 13th birthday and this would be the perfect book to get her started on a lifetime of crafting and making beautiful things. I wish I'd had it when I was her age!

I would love to have this book and share it with the world. I would also share it for many years to come and leave it as heritage to my sons and daughters to be. They would cowork on some of this projects and then pass it on to their children... This would be a sustainable pyramid. :)

I would love this for MYSELF but I would totally share with my 2 daughters who have itching to learn how to sew :) thank you for the opportunity!

Well, I have 3 little boys who stare longlingly at my sewing machine (although they may just want to take it apart as they do all other appliances/flashlights), so I would most definitely share it with them! I have been excited about this book since I found that one of the authors (and maybe both?) is from Memphis, TN, my former home and still not too far from me! amylindseyevans(at)hotmail(dot)com

oops..longingly

I learned to sew at age nine, I would love to use this book to teach my girls to sew too.

I would share it with my daughters when they get old enough...the two yeaar old is already getting interested but I think it will be a while for the 8 Month Old might take a bit longer to get her hands on the sewing machine!!

My oldest is turning 5 next month and loves sewing. She has surpassed lacing cards and now is on to hand-stitching burlap on embroidery hoops. I've only been sewing for 2 years so this book would be a great guide for me to teach and share my love of sewing with my daughter. Thanks for the opportunity!

I want it for myself. I badly want this book.

my son is learning to sew. he's only 2. but i think he has great potential. he sews on little cardboard cut outs and loves to sit on my lap while i sew. i would totally share this with him!

I would share this with my neighbors who are expecting child number 5 in a few weeks!

My oldest twoa re boys who seem to have no interest in sewing. But my 3 year old daughter tells me how much she will sew and knit when "she is big enough" Looks like she'd love this book! taswege(at)internode(dot)on(dot)net

I have a two-year old niece in NYC named Oona. One of the many things I enjoy is making handmade items for her so this book would be a thrill! crookedsister@gmail.com

My six-year-old daughter would love this! We played around with simple embroidery this summer and had a blast.

I would give this to my daughter! She pretends to sew and knit especially in the car. You wouldn't believe it but she can make a whole sweater in her car seat in two minutes.

This is so great! I bought myself a sewing machine about 2 years ago and I've only used it once. I've been thinking lately it would be good to start making things for my girls.

gravityletsyoudown (at) gmail (dot) com

I would love to have this book and use my self, share with my friends, who have kids. I love handmade things and want to do something for my daughter (6 month old) and maybe later she'll love to make something herself.
