We featured Amy Ross in the second issue of Small. Amy has an interest in science and a background in theology and her art explores the junction of her interests. Amy loves to imagine the possibility of hypothetical splicing of plant and animal DNA, 'subverting the traditional genre
of botanical illustration by approaching the close
study of the natural world through the lens of genetic
engineering and mutation gone awry.'
Amy contributed the gorgeous drawing on the left which you can download from here by clicking on the Small Draw button. This drawing will be part of our new 'Small Draw Original Coloring Book.' We have been on a super tight deadline to get it all together for the launch on the 22nd but it looks like it is going to come together.
